On the afternoon of October 20, 1967, in the mountains of northern California, Roger Patterson, accompanied by Robert Gimlin, filmed a legendary creature, dubbed Bigfoot or Sasquatch.
The film was shown to American scientist at the Smithsonian Institution who took one quick look and wrote it off as a fake. A determined Sasquatch hunter, Rene Dahinden, of British Columbia, Canada, stepped in and took the filmstrip to Moscow to be examined by Russian researchers.
Russian hominologists studied the movie in depth and found it to be authentic. As this now means Bigfoot is real, the implications are momentous.
The story, being fact, not fiction, concerns not only Americans and Russians, but every human being on earth for it pertains to the origin of man. |
