Almost 1000 people submitted over 10,000 photographs to make this book possible. Space limitations and the rules of our competition determined the choice of photographs for this volume.
We were astonished and delighted by the high quality of the photos and selected those which, in our mind, best conveyed the variety and beauty of our land. To round out this first volume of British Columbia photographs, additional material was chosen from the publisher's resources and from government agencies.
