Great Bears of Hyder AK and Stewart BC - Added Photos

This is a mother black bear with a brown-and a black-colored cub. They're shifty characters all right. They'll kill you just for coming too close to civilization. Fish Creek is not affected by the high water and the bears continue to feed on the salmon and their eggs. Sometimes two bears will fight but normally they will stare, turn sideways and back away.
