Author Biography: Michel St. Jalme:
Michel was educated at Rennes University, France. From 1989 to 1991 he was Research Associate in the Ethology Laboratory of Rennes University and gained his PhD there with a study of Reproduction in the European Quail. He then joined the National Wildlife Research Center, Taif, Saudi Arabia, where he is Research Scientist and Coordinator of the scientific program on the biology of the houbara bustard associated with the captive breeding program.
Yolanda van Heezik:
Educated at Otago University in Dunedin, New Zealand. From 1989 to 1991 she was Scientific officer at Percy FitzPatrick Institute of African Ornithology, University of Cape Town, where her research focused on the reproductive and feeding biology of the jackass penguin. Since then she has been Research Scientist at the National Wildlife Research Center, Taif, Saudi Arabia, where she has conducted field research on the biology of the houbara bustard. |
