Author Biography: Bernice Neff was born and raised in Vancouver, B.C. She moved to her farm in Langley, B.C., 15 years ago and she has taken advantage of what farm life has to offer ever since. The healthy was of living has always been a major part of Bernice's life, as she grows her own vegetables and produces her own eggs and milk. Bernice has demonstrated food dehydration for the past three years, and has taught night school when requested. Due to the ever-increasing cost of food, Bernice finds food preservation through drying to be an inexpensive and self-satisfying experience. Her next book, Big Batch Bread Making, will be published in the near future. |
