Author Biography: Edward R. Ricciuti is a former zoo and aquarium curator, naturalist, and journalist. He has written more than two dozen books on nature and the outdoors, as well as numerous magazine articles on similar topics. A consultant to zoos, aquariums, and conservation organizations, he is the veteran of many field trips to study wildlife in North America, Asia, and Africa. Ricciuti is a veteran SCUBA diver, having carried out field work in North American waters, the Red Sea, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean. |
