Author Biography:
Michael Hendry is a biophysicist who designs and constructs particle accelerators for medical applications. He has professionally collected invertebrates in the water around Victoria and has also worked as a fishing guide. He has enjoyed diving for the past seven years.
Ted White is a community watershed monitoring coordinator. As a biological consultant he has investigated the effects of sea otters on algae and invertebrate communities and he has conducted field research on abalone, sea urchins, and geoduck. Ted has been an avid scuba diver since 1987. |
