He has flown specialty work for Banff and Jasper national parks, the Federal Wildlife Conservation Authority, many wildlife organizations, and the Geological Survey of Canada. In this autobiographical book, Manley matures from rough-edged rookie in Canada's frozen north to the leading edge, ahead of the world in helicopter touring of the globe's highest mountains. From his birthplace in Grande Prairie, Alberta, Manley now lives, flies, and writes out of Richmond, BC.
