Author Biography
Joe and Anne Forester taught in Kelowna and Castlegar for six years, though they now live in Victoria where they combine their talents for research and writing with interests in regional history and fishing.
Anne grew up in the fishing villages of the Baltic Sea, and Joe is from the Georgian Bay area of Ontario where he once owned an island and cottage. Both authors hold Masters degrees, teach, and write professionally on natural history, minerals and trees, As well, both share a special concern for resources conservation and management.
